In a way, Ernest_Hemingway became a victim of bearded violence. However, its important to remember that growing a beard doesn't necessarily cause men to become violent or crazy.

Mick_Foley is certainly more ferocious with his rough & tough bearded look, but it was appropriate for that violent line of work. Writing is another part of his work, although at times he could still be mistaken for a bearded homeless man, he is still tough enough to kick any ones ass. He would be just as tough without the beard, but its all part of his wild man, rugged appearance through the years.

Although Alan_Moore could sometimes be mistaken for looking like a homeless person, only histhemes are occasionally violent. Alan_Moore is hardly homeless, but might be a little eccentric in appearance.
